Hitoshi Yoshida is the president of Microsoft Japan. He is responsible for leading Microsoft's overall business, accelerating the digital transformation journeys of customers and partners, and driving the company's mission of empowering every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. Before joining Microsoft, Mr. Yoshida was the president of Hewlett-Packard Japan for almost five years. He led its reorganization into Hewlett Packard Enterprise and HP Inc. in Japan. He also built a strong ecosystem of partners, including a thriving relationship with Microsoft as one of HPE's major strategic allies, and built HPE Japan into one of the highest-performing regions. Prior to his time with Hewlett-Packard Japan, Mr. Yoshida held various top management positions during a period of more than 20 years and built a strong track record of driving change and delivering business success. These roles included serving as managing director of North Asia for SAS Institute, president of SAS Institute Japan, president of Novell Japan, and president of Cambridge Technology Partners Japan. Mr. Yoshida holds a master of business administration from Harvard Business School, a master of science in computer science from Stanford University, and a bachelor of science in computer science and music from Tufts University.
