Keyvan Peymani is an expert senior operator in digital transformation and innovation management who has advised Fortune 1000 companies, governments and the fastest-scaling startups around the world in using data-driven approaches to achieve revenue growth, drive iterative innovation, and to shift organizational structures and business models to benefit from emerging technologies. Keyvan has deep international expertise and has worked across 60 countries at the intersection of technology, media and venture capital throughout his career. Serving in senior executive operating roles at some of the most dynamic businesses in the world including Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group, Amazon, Netflix, Warner Bros, Disney and ICM Partners, Keyvan is a recognized expert in fan engagement and commercialization. Keyvan has also served on the faculty of USC’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. As a board member, founder, investor and advisor, Keyvan has guided c-suite executives in expanding operations globally, acquiring and retaining customers and navigating business strategy shifts across emerging technologies including AI and Web3. In addition, he has advised global funds in the US, UK, Japan, Finland, Israel and China. As an international operator, Keyvan has navigated mass-scale disruptions to business models, built new global businesses across 60 countries, and mentored senior executives around the world. He most recently served as the Chief Brand and Commercial Officer for Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group, revitalizing the business out of pandemic-driven standstill to triple digit millions in EBITDA, while overseeing fan engagement, digital strategy and commercial expansion. In addition to helping to relaunch a beloved multibillion-dollar business, Keyvan led brand and digital marketing, media and content development, core IT development, digital experiences, consumer products, retail experiences and merchandise, eCommerce, loyalty, CRM, research, sponsorships and alliances, and was a Named Executive Officer of the company. Previously, Keyvan served in the CMO role for the Startups segment at Amazon as AWS global Head of Startup Marketing, with oversight of all marketing strategy and activities, combining data-driven acquisition and retention marketing with ecosystem market development for a multibillion-dollar business that tripled revenues into double digit billions during his tenure. Keyvan served in the first Chief Digital Officer role for ICM Partners, where he focused on efforts that spanned digital initiatives, corporate strategy and venture capital, including assessing over $3 billion of potential acquisition targets, founding and overseeing a venture practice with a portfolio of 28 startups that were backed by Tier I VC firms including Andreessen Horowitz, Greylock Partners, Founders Fund and Breyer Capital, and launching new businesses with agency clients. He was a founding executive of Warner Bros’ Direct to Consumer division, where he led all strategy, operations, financial planning and business development, and also managed three business lines, including the mobile games and applications group where more than 80 games and apps earning over 150 million downloads were deployed, and developed niche SVOD/OTT services. Keyvan also served as the first Chief Operating Officer of Nettwerk Music Group, where, in addition to leading the day-to-day operations of one of the largest independent music companies in the world, he led all digital, international and corporate strategy for a business comprising five divisions devoted to artist management, recorded music, music publishing, live events and merchandise. Keyvan also served as the first head of catalog acquisitions and wholesales at Netflix, where he drove long-term retention. Throughout his career, Keyvan has unlocked the benefits of emerging technologies and partnerships to manage the transformation of organizational structures and business models that have served over a billion customers and has grown international businesses that have generated over $40B in revenues.
