Luis is the Founder and CEO of Mawari, a pioneering digital alchemist and entrepreneur of cloud rendering and streaming technology for interactive AR experiences. Luis’ main goal is to make Synthetic Reality accessible to everyone using emerging technologies such as Spatial Computing, 5G, cloud rendering and streaming. He believes in using innovation to change how we work, socialize, learn and ultimately, live. Luis and his team created The Mawari Network, a decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) for spatial computing content delivery which addresses scalability and adoption for the next generation of the internet. The Mawari Network unlocks an internet for everyone by breaking the bottlenecks of infrastructure supply for real-time rendering, and the lack of local computer power in XR devices. Before Mawari, Luis co-founded the Japanese edition of the MUTEK festival and was Global Head of Marketing at MUSIC Tribe. Fluent in Japanese and other languages, he influenced the music landscape in Japan, driven by a strong cultural connection to and understanding of his audience. Against a backdrop of an undergraduate degree in theoretical mathematics and a lifelong passion for digital music creation, his drive to democratize - and later create - 3D production technology for artists in these roles is unsurprising. Fast forward to Mawari, he remains focused on the future and finding powerful solutions to advance the technology sector.
