Vertex Growth General Partner

Hock Chuan is the General Partner of Vertex Growth Fund which has an AUM of nearly USD 1B. He has over 20 years of investment experience and currently sits on the board of more than 10 companies including Verbit, Cymulate, Taranis, Neiwai, alt.ai, Dailybox and more. Prior to joining Vertex, Hock Chuan was a Partner at TRIREC Capital, a Singapore cleantech and renewable energy-focused investment firm. Prior to that, he was the SVP at EDBI, the investment arm of the Economic Development Board of Singapore, overseeing IT and Cleantech investments. He has also joined the World Bank Group’s International Finance Corp (IFC) as a Principal Investment Officer focusing on TMT investments in China, India and SEA. Hock Chuan graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Econs, Honours First Class.
