１９６１年３月７日生まれ。神戸大学経営学部経営学科卒業、(財)松下政経塾卒塾、米国連邦議会Congressional　Fellow、近畿大学経済学部教授（産業政策論・中小企業論）。１９９３年衆議院議員に初当選、現在９期目。通商産業政務次官、経済産業副大臣（３回任命）、内閣府特命担当大臣（４回任命）、総務大臣（５回任命：史上最長在職期間を記録）、衆議院文部科学委員長、衆議院議院運営委員長、自民党サイバーセキュリティ対策本部長（３期）、自民党経済安全保障対策本部長、自民党政務調査会長（３期）等を歴任。

1993 年、宇宙科学研究所（現JAXA）に入所し、助手、助教授として多くの地球周回科学衛星や月・惑星探査機のプロジェクト、ロケットの開発・打ち上げ、衛星の運用に従事。その間、1997 年には米国航空宇宙局(NASA)ジェット推進研究所(JPL) 、2002 年には欧州宇宙機関(ESA)欧州宇宙科学技術センター(ESTEC)の客員科学者として従事。2000 年より日本と欧州宇宙機関(ESA)の国際共同プロジェクトである水星探査計画「ベピ・コロンボ」のプロジェクトマネージャを勤める。 2006 年より京都大学生存圏研究所教授、2010年より内閣官房宇宙開発戦略本部事務局長、2012 年より内閣府宇宙政策委員会委員等を歴任。2018 年4 月にJAXA の理事長に就任。

2010年スペースシャトル・ディスカバリー号に搭乗し、国際宇宙ステーション(ISS)組立補給ミッションに従事。2011年宇宙航空研究開発機構(JAXA)退職後、内閣府宇宙政策委員会委員(2012〜2022年)、一般社団法人スペースポートジャパン代表理事(2018年〜)、公益財団法人日本宇宙少年団(YAC)理事長(2021年〜)、地球環境解決のための英国王立財団設立アースショット賞評議員(2020年〜)などを務める。

東京大学大学院修士課程修了（航空宇宙工学）、慶應義塾大学後期博士課程修了（システムエンジニアリング学）。大学院修了後、三菱電機にて１５年間、宇宙開発に従事。「こうのとり」などの開発に参画。技術・社会融合システムのイノベーション創出方法論などの研究に取り組む。2008年4月より慶應義塾大学大学院SDM研究科非常勤准教授。2010年より同専任准教授、2017年より同専任教授。2015年12月〜2019年3月まで内閣府革新的研究開発推進プログラム(ImPACT)のプログラムマネージャーとしてオンデマンド型小型合成開口レーダ(SAR)衛星を開発。その他、内閣府宇宙政策委員会委員、経済産業省グリーンイノベーションプロジェクト部会ＷＧ3座長等、政府の各種委員も務める。

平成4年4月科学技術庁入庁（現文部科学省）。平成18年6月文部科学省研究開発局参事官付（航空宇宙開発担当）国際協力企画官、平成19年10月文部科学省高等教育局専門教育課企画官、平成21年８月国際原子力機関（IAEA）原子力局核燃料サイクル材料課、平成26年７月文部科学省科学技術・学術政策局科学技術・学術戦略官、平成28年１月研究開発法人理化学研究所経営企画部長、令和２年４月文部科学省研究振興局振興企画課長、令和３年７月内閣府宇宙開発戦略推進事務局参事官を歴任。令和４年４月より内閣府宇宙開発戦略推進事務局審議官を務める。

Kevin M. O’Connell is a recognized expert on space commerce, the global space economy and U.S. national security matters. For four decades, he has focused on space commercialization and technological competitiveness and how to advance them in global markets. He has also focused on how innovations impact U.S. and allied national security. He is CEO of Space Economy Rising, a firm that provides advisory services to space companies, high-tech companies, and stakeholders in the space economy. He provides strategy and finance advice, helps investors assess space market trends, and identifies new opportunities for increased participation in the space economy. His prior role was as Director of the Office of Space Commerce within the U.S. Department of Commerce from 2018-2021. He was the principal advocate in the U.S. government for the commercial space industry, including new ways to facilitate innovation and increase market growth. He has over twenty years of teaching graduate courses in Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and the RAND Graduate School. He is a lecturer on space and space commerce at academic and research organizations, including MIT, SDA Bocconi, The George Washington University, Thunderbird School of Global Management, and the University of Tokyo.

鈴木一人　東京大学公共政策大学院教授・地経学研究所長 1970年生まれ。2000年英国サセックス大学ヨ－ロッパ研究所現代ヨーロッパ研究専攻博士課程修了。2000年から2008年まで筑波大学国際総合学類、2008年から2020年まで北海道大学公共政策大学院。2012年から2013年にはプリンストン大学国際地域研究所客員研究員。2013年から2015年までは国連安保理イラン制裁専門家パネル委員。2020年から東京大学公共政策大学院、2022年から地経学研究所長。内閣府宇宙政策委員会委員（宇宙安全保障部会長）、日本安全保障貿易学会会長、国際宇宙アカデミー正会員、国際問題研究所客員研究員なども兼任。専門は国際政治、国際政治経済学、科学技術と安全保障、安全保障貿易管理、国連制裁など。主著として『宇宙開発と国際政治』（岩波書店、2011年。サントリー学芸賞受賞）“UN sanctions on Iran and their financial elements” in Sachiko Yoshimura (eds.) United Nations Financial Sanctions (Routledge, 2021) など。

2011年京都大学工学部卒、同年経済産業省入省。内閣官房内閣サイバーセキュリティセンター主査、原子力発電所事故収束対応室課長補佐、カーネギーメロン大学留学（情報セキュリティ管理学科修了）、サイバーセキュリティ課課長補佐、宇宙産業室室長補佐（総括）などを経て、2022年7月より現職。

Bernadette Detera is a young space professional active in the areas of satellite technology applications, space education, and sustainability. She is currently working in the field of space situational awareness as an Technical Support Engineer at LSAS Tec Co.,Ltd, a trusted solution provider to commercial space ventures, systems integrators and government customers utilizing AGI technology. Prior to that, she worked as a researcher in Keio University, Japan working on big data analysis, remote sensing and using geospatial information to improve disaster management and urban planning. Additionally, she serves as the Global Network Coordinator at the Moon Village Association (MVA) where she is overseeing the organization’s activities all over the world to spread awareness of and promote sustainable lunar activities. She is also currently one of the senior leaders at the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) supporting the UN Programme of Space Applications. In her role as the Regional Coordinator, she is heavily involved in outreach, space education and capacity-building activities for the next generation of space leaders in the Asia-Pacific region. Finally, Bernadette has a background in business and engineering, is a Masters degree holder in Systems Engineering and has worked in Management Consulting prior.

Mr. Chang, a space architecture activist and received master degree in engineering from The University of Tokyo. He had talked in TEDxTokyo ('12), space architecture specialist in Act In Space Taipei ('18), space hackathon ('21) and held a position as Supervisor of Taiwan Space Industry Development Association ('19-23). Mr. Chang founded HelioX Cosmos since 2018 and is CEO. HelioX Cosmos is a proactive space business company which provides a wide spectrum of total solution ranging from nanosatellite R&D, spaceflight verification, space-grade components to launch service, CubeSat ISS deployment, and deep space missions. HelioX Cosmos has been working and partnering with TASA (Taiwan Space Agency), ISL, Space BD, Space One, Space Pharma, Space NTK, TensorTech, LETSCOM and universities in Asia-Pacific Region. HelioX Cosmos also dedicated its excellent solutions to projects such as 3U CubeSat launch service, space biochemical experiments, space memorial flight, space architecture education, etc.. HelioX Cosmos is also the first cislunar business company in Taiwan which has announced partnering with Space BD and National Central University sending scientific payload on board HAKUTO-R second mission, the first lunar mission ever in Taiwan’s history to be launched in 2024.

「日々の授業を楽しみながら宇宙を知る」ことを目的に、Benjamin Branch株式会社を2022年に共同設立。初等教育向けに宇宙をテーマしたコンテンツを提供するサービス「プラネットクラス」を開発し、宇宙教育事業への参入・市場拡大を目指す。宇宙航空研究開発機構（JAXA）にて宇宙ビジネス共創、ロケット開発、海外連携等を歴任。

A female pioneer in the asian space ecosystem, she identifies and develop new opportunities and roadmaps, for government, companies, and individuals to partake in the growing global space industry. She runs a space tech accelerator in Singapore. She is a Karman Fellow, an international award given to individuals whose achievements in space are outstanding. Lynette is active in promoting Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics interest amongst youths and women. For her efforts and accomplishments, she was recognized by a Singapore leading female magazine for her “Outstanding Contributions to the Science & Technology Industry” and the Lancome Visionary Award in 2018. She was also on the inaugural “Singapore 100 Women in Tech List” in 2020” which recognized individuals who have impressed and inspired and created an impact at the international levels. Lynette was also acknowledged as a Trailblazer in her field on the list. Lynette is a founding member of the Women in Aviation’s first southeast Asian chapter. Lynette received her Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Stanford.

Norilmi Amilia Ismail is a lecturer at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and CEO of SpaceIn Sdn Bhd. She has been teaching for over 11 years and is committed to promoting space technology education among young people in Malaysia. SpaceIn is focused on developing satellite IoT technology to connect devices in remote areas. Norilmi is also involved in space outreach programs, is co-founder and ex-President of the NGO Malaysia Space Initiative (MiSI), and was recently appointed as a mentor in the Space4Women Mentorship program by the United Nations Office of Outer Space Affairs. Her goal is to help Malaysia regain its place in the space race and create opportunities for the younger generation, especially women, in the space industry.

Jenna Tiwana works within the Corporate Planning Office at SPACETIDE Foundation and is also Senior BD & Strategy Advisor at ispace inc. Previously Jenna was a Management Consultant at Bain & Company for ~4 years, gaining particular experience in Private Equity and Strategy cases. During her time at Bain, she worked in a range of industries and across both London and Tokyo offices. Jenna has two Masters degrees, the first in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southampton and the second in Space Studies from the International Space University where she received the Association of Space Explorer’s Award. In her spare time Jenna also volunteers with non-profit organizations in the space industry from across the world including the Space Generation Advisory Council and the British Interplanetary Society.

After graduating from the Ecole Centrale des Arts et Manufactures in 1985, Jean-Marc Astorg joined the CNES Launchers Directorate to work on the HERMES space plane project. Since 1991, he has been deeply involved in the Ariane launcher family, taking increasing responsibilities in the development of the European launcher. In particular, he was the project manager of the Ariane 5 upper stage ESC-A development. He then directed the ‘Soyouz in French Guiana’ project, from 2003 to the first launch in 2011 consisting in building a launch pad in French Guiana for the Russian Soyouz rocket. In 2012, after the first flight of Soyouz in French Guiana, he became CNES Director of Procurement, Sales and Legal Affairs. In 2015, he was nominated as CNES Director of Launchers, managing a team of 300 engineers in charge of the CNES support to Ariane 5 exploitation, the construction of the Ariane 6 launch pad and the preparation of future launchers through demonstrators like Prometheus, Callisto and Themis. In 2022, he was nominated as CNES Director of Strategy, which covers strategy but also prospective, future studies & technology maturation, preparation of new programs, industrial policy and interfaces with private and public partners.

子供の頃に観たスターウォーズに魅了され、宇宙開発を志す。ジョージア工科大学で修士号（航空宇宙工学）を取得。大学院時代は次世代航空宇宙システムの概念設計に携わる。外資系経営コンサルティングファーム勤務を経て2010年より史上初の民間月面探査レース「Google Lunar XPRIZE」に参加する日本チーム「HAKUTO」を率いた。同時に、運営母体の組織を株式会社ispaceに変更する。現在は史上初の民間月面探査プログラム「HAKUTO-R」を主導しながら月面輸送を主とした民間宇宙ビジネスを推進中。宇宙資源を利用可能にすることで、人類が宇宙に生活圏を築き、地球と月の間に持続可能なエコシステムの構築を目指し挑戦を続けている。

一般社団法人SPACETIDEの共同創業者 兼 代表理事 兼 CEOとして、「宇宙ビジネスの新たな潮流をつくる」ことをミッションに、年次カンファレンス「SPACETIDE」を主催。また、経営コンサルティングファームKearneyのGlobal Space Groupのリーダーとして国内外の政府機関や企業に対して経営コンサルティングを実施。内閣府 宇宙政策委員会 基本政策部会をはじめとする各種政府委員会を通じて日本政府の宇宙政策立案・実行を支援。日経産業新聞および日経デジタルにて「WAVE」を2018年より連載中。また著書に「宇宙ビジネス入門 Newspace革命の全貌」（日経BP社）。東京大学工学部卒。

2001年宇宙開発事業団（現：JAXA）入社。国際交渉業務、ALOS（だいち）の防災利用事業、はやぶさプロジェクトの帰還業務に従事。2019年5月よりさくらインターネット株式会社にて、衛星データプラットフォーム「Tellusプロジェクト」全体の統括を担い、「衛星データ×IT」の力で新しい価値を創造するために日々奮闘中。

米系コンサルティングファームにて、 5 年間で 15 を超えるグローバル企業の新事業/技術戦略策定、企業統治および内部統制強化などに従事。 その後、東京大学での開発途上国の経済成⻑に寄与するエネルギーシステム構築の研究を経て、サウジアラビア、バングラデシュ、ラオス、カンボジア、ケニア、タンザニア、そして日本の被災地等のエネルギー・水・衛生・農業・リサイクルにおける社会課題を解決するプロジェクトに参画。 衛星からの新たな情報によるイノベーションで持続可能な未来を作ることを目指し、2018 年に株式会社 Synspective を創業。

ソニー子会社にてデジタルコンテンツの事業開発を担当。その後、米バイオテック企業にて日本向けマーケティングに従事、2007年から米IT企業シスコシステムズにてパートナー・ビジネス・ディベロップメントなどを経験。 2011年に発生した東日本大震災で災害ボランティアを続ける中、被災地からの情報共有の脆弱性を実感し、被災地の情報をリアルタイムに伝える情報解析サービスの開発を目指し株式会社Specteeを創業。著書に「AI防災革命」(幻冬舎)

Prasad Nair is with MDA, the leading Canadian Space company in Radar Earth Observation Satellites, Communication Satellites and Space Robotics. He has an Electronics Engineering degree with more than 30 years’ sales and business development experience in the remote sensing and high-technology industry in North America, Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific region. Prasad has been leading teams and assisting customers with leading-edge cost efficient satellite and satellite-based remote sensing solutions in these regions for more than 17 years. He is currently Director, Business Development APAC, MEA and LATAM with MDA.

Ben is the Vice President Sales Asia Pacific Japan with Planet. Planet has deployed the largest constellation of Earth-observing satellites in history that image the entire surface of the Earth, every day. When analyzed with advanced AI techniques, this imagery has transformational value for addressing a host of global challenges, including improving agriculture, delivering sustainable development, monitoring peace and conflict, ensuring human rights, predicting food insecurity, assessing climate change, delivering disaster response, and improving conservation, among many others. Ben is responsible for driving strategy, increasing government and commercial awareness of this transformational value and overseeing Planet business activities across the region. Ben has over 20 years of experience in professional services, value engineering and sales leadership roles in APJ, EMEA and US. Ben holds a Bachelor degree from University of Technology, Sydney. Prior to joining Planet, Ben worked at Apptio helping Fortune 1000 companies make data-driven timely decisions, align technology investments to business outcomes and respond to market disruptions. He assisted in expanding the business to EMEA and APAC, and launched the APAC Technology Business Management (TBM) Council, focused on thought leadership, standards and education with CxO’s from leading companies across the region.

1965年東京生まれ。麻布高校、東京大学を卒業後、1993年同大学大学院工学系研究科博士課程修了。同年、東京電力入社。主として電力システムに関わる技術開発や実務、コンサルティングなどの業務に従事。同社常務執行役経営技術戦略研究所長兼系統広域連系推進室長などを経て現職。日本科学技術振興財団理事、スマートレジリエンスネットワーク代表幹事、国際電気標準会議（IEC）市場諮問評議会委員、国際大電力システム会議（CIGRE）本部執行委員なども務める。 主な著書に「エネルギー産業の2050年　Utility 3.0へのゲームチェンジ」（共著、日本経済新聞出版社刊、2017年、エネルギーフォーラム賞受賞）、「グリッドで理解する電力システム」（日本電気協会新聞部刊、2020年、エネルギーフォーラム普及啓発賞受賞）。

Rainer Horn is the Founder and Managing Partner of SpaceTec Partners, a international strategy consulting group specialised on the space sector. He has 20 years experience as consultant in in (new)space, space applications and geospatial industry. Since 2012 he has been leading international space cooperation initiatives between Asia and Europe (GNSS.asia). He is a member of several space-related boards (e.g. www.multignssasia.com, EBAN Space) Over the years SpaceTec Partners has been shaping space innovation ecosystems, space finance programmes, accelerators and incubators. Clients include space companies, institutions, as well as venture capital and private equity investors. Rainer is also the Managing Partner of SpaceTec Capital, an early-stage investment firm active in the space and mobility sectors. Rainer Horn has a double degree from the European School of Business (Reutlingen & London) and attained an MBA from INSEAD.

Venkat Pillay is the CEO & Founder of LatConnect 60 Ltd, a NewSpace company established in 2019 out of Perth, Western Australia. Venkat drives the strategic vision and growth of LatConnect 60 in providing leading edge satellite Earth Observation satellite constellations, data and insights through its proprietary EONET platform and downstream apps to a wide range of industries such as Agriculture, Environment, Sustainability and Governance (ESG) and urban planning for state governments. Venkat has also developed considerable patented Intellectual Property (IP) in the area of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite integrated operations and data fusion to generate insights. His patents are granted in multiple countries i.e. USA, Australia, Malaysia and Singapore. Prior to founding LatConnect 60, Venkat developed over 15+ years of experience in South East Asian satellite missions, as well as a program manager and systems engineer on key Canadian and USA satellite programs.

Born in Biak Numfor, Irian Jaya on October 14 1967. Completededucation and earned a degree Bachelor of Engineering, ElectronicElectrical Engineering in 1992, and Master of Engineering, ElectronicsElectrical Engineering in 1994 at Ehime University, Japan. After thathe earned a Doctor of Engineering degree, Electronic Electrical Engineering in 2001 in Shinshu University, Japan. In 2017-2021 he served as 2017 Deputy for Institutional ScientificServices Indonesian Science (LIPI). Under his leadership, a halal research center was formed incollaboration with the Committee National Islamic Economy in theeffort to develop halal products. April 2022, he currently serves as Deputy Chairman for Development Policy oversees four directorates including the Directorate ofHuman Development Policy, Popuylation and Culture, Directorate ofPolitics, Law, Defense, and Policy Security, Directorate of EconomicPolicy, Employment and Development Regional, and the Directorateof Environmental Policy, Maritime Affairs, Natural Resources, andNuclear Power.

Dr. Rogel Mari Sese is an internationally recognized astrophysicist, educator and space expert and is the Philippines’ leading advocate for space science and technology development. He is the Chair of the Department of Aerospace Engineering of the Ateneo de Davao University and Director of ACCESS Mindanao, a research and advocacy program of ADDU that aims to bridge the digital divide in Mindanao using satellite technology. Dr. Sese led the National SPACE Development Program which crafted the Philippine Space Development and Utilization Policy and proposal for the creation of the Philippine Space Agency. He wrote and spent years actively lobbying for the law that eventually became Republic Act 11363 or the Philippine Space Act, the Philippines’ first space law that led to the creation of the space agency and policy. He is recognized both locally and internationally, being selected as a 2012 Emerging Space Leaders by the International Astronautical Federation, one of the eight Filipinos in the Top 100 Asian Scientists of 2018 by the Asian Scientist Magazine, and recognized in Senate Resolution 882 in 2019 by the Philippine Senate for his contributions to space development in the country.

Fredrik Gisle is the Head of Market Region APAC for the Swedish Space Corporation. SSC has the most advanced commercial ground station network in the world supporting requirements for NASA, ESA, ISRO, and privately funded missions for more than two decades. Mr. Gisle has more than 25 years’ experience from the Communications and IT industries, working throughout Asia, Middle East, Europe and Africa, and has has worked in different business development roles with network operators and hardware manufacturers. He has a passion for working with advanced technologies and developing new markets. Mr. Gisle has a Business degree from the University of Lund in Sweden.

Parth was chosen to serve on the U.S. delegation to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the United Nations technical body on aviation, after earning his Master of Science from Aeronautics & Astronautics from MIT. There he led various aerospace-focused projects for the Department of Defense, Air Force Research Laboratory, NASA, Lockheed Martin, and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Parth earned his Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University with highest distinction. He subsequently earned advanced degrees from both MIT and Stanford before founding Skylo.

Krystal Azelton is a Director of Space Applications Programs at Secure World Foundation and has over 10 years of international and domestic space, public policy, and management experience. Prior to joining SWF, Ms. Azelton was a consultant at Access Partnership, where she worked with international satellite service providers and other leading technology companies on policy issues related to spectrum management, emergency communications, telecommunications standards, orbital debris, and multilateral processes including representing industry at the Inter-American Telecommunication Commission. She has also served as a project manager at the Tauri Group, a leading aerospace analytics firm, providing research, analysis, strategic planning, and regulatory assessment to government and commercial clients. She led and supported production of NASA’s strategic plans, audits, performance plans, budgets, and annual reports. Her work exposed to the full range of NASA’s Earth observation, human exploration, and aviation programs. In that role, she was also recognized as a key member of a data management team that received the NASA Group Achievement Award.

She has experienced more than 15 years in innovation and business development. She works at Advance Info Services Plc (AIS), Thailand’s no.1 mobile operator as the innovation & product owner. Kanchanit also is the founder of ECOSpace the startup incubated by AIS and won the grand prize winner and the sponsor prize from Sony of S-booster in 2021. EcoSpace has a strong passion for leveraging technology to fight climate change, starting by providing the forest fire early warning solution that combines IoT ground sensors connected to the Low Earth Orbit Satellite to detect fire hot spots. EcoSpace continues to develop and collaborate Thai local community and the national park to implement the solutions in three wildfire potential provinces in the north of Thailand.

Manju has 15 years of work and research experience in the applications of advanced remote sensing technology and cloud computing, natural resources management, nature-based carbon capture, and carbon monitoring. His work on forest carbon and climate change impact assessments were published in several top peer-reviewed journals. He obtained a Ph.D. in Natural Resources. He has conducted several training courses related to REDD+, MRV, Capacity building, UAVs, and GIS applications for resources mapping, carbon accounting and environmental quality assessment. Richard French leads business development and strategy for Rocket Lab’s space systems division, providing end-to-end mission services and on-orbit operations with the company’s Photon family of small spacecraft and high-end satellite components including propulsion, reaction wheels, star trackers, avionics, solar arrays, and more. Richard spent over a decade at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where he led development of the Techstars Starburst Space Accelerator program and managed technology partnerships with industry in the Office of Space Technology. He also spent two years on detail to NASA Headquarters in Washington, D.C. as a Staff Technologist in the Space Technology Mission Directorate, leading development of the Tipping Point and Announcement of Collaborative Opportunity solicitations. Richard’s earlier career includes service as an engineer on various NASA missions, including being awarded the NASA Honors Early Career Public Achievement Medal for his work as a lead mechanical systems engineer on the Soil Moisture Active Passive mission, and helping to land the Curiosity Rover on Mars as a member of the Mars Science Laboratory entry, descent, and landing systems engineering team. Richard holds a Masters degree in Space Systems Engineering and a Bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering, both from the University of Michigan.

She is an alumni of the International Space University. She has worked for space startups including Space Adventures, Odyssey Moon, Moon Express and Orbital Astronautics. Emeline is co-author of the book “Realizing Tomorrow: The Path to Private Space Flight”.

東京大学大学院工学系研究科 航空宇宙工学専攻 中須賀・船瀬研究室に学生時代より所属し、JAXAとの共同研究で深宇宙探査超小型衛星の開発に従事、また人工衛星の運用や高精度軌道制御の自律化に向けた研究に取り組んできた。2019年より学術専門職員として、同研究室での複数衛星の開発・マネジメントに従事してきた。ソニーグループ株式会社との共同研究であるSTAR SPHEREプロジェクトの初号機衛星EYEの衛星開発マネジメントに当初から携わり、2023年1月に打ち上げを成功させ、現在も運用を継続している。2021年からは、株式会社アークエッジ・スペースにて超小型衛星の設計開発を兼務し、複数の人工衛星生産体制の構築を目指している。

Rahm Emanuel was confirmed in a bipartisan vote as the 31st United States Ambassador to Japan on December 18, 2021. Previously, Ambassador Emanuel was the 55th Mayor of the City of Chicago, a position he held until May 2019. During that time, he made the critical choices necessary to secure Chicago’s future as a global capital. As Mayor, the Ambassador added four years to a student’s education. He increased the school day by 75 minutes and added more than 200 hours to the school year, marking the largest single increase in educational time by any city and taking Chicago from having the least educational time of any large school district in the country to being on par with its peers. He implemented universal pre-kindergarten and full-day kindergarten for every Chicago child, and made Chicago the first city in America to provide free community college. The Mayor’s comprehensive public safety strategy focused on expanded prevention programs for at-risk youth, smarter policing strategies, and empowering parents and communities to reduce violence. The Ambassador made it a priority to bring global companies to the city, helping Chicago to lead the U.S. in corporate relocations and foreign direct investment for seven consecutive years. His administration invested in infrastructure, public transportation, open space, and cultural attractions. From the $8.5 billion O’Hare International Airport modernization program that is cementing Chicago’s status as a global leader in travel, tourism, and trade to the development of the iconic 1.25-mile Chicago Riverwalk, the City’s investments are creating thousands of good-paying jobs and making Chicago a better place to live, work, and play. Prior to becoming Mayor, from November 2008 until October 2010, Ambassador Emanuel served as President Barack Obama’s Chief of Staff. In addition to being the President’s top advisor, the Ambassador helped the Obama administration secure the passage of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 and the landmark Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. Ambassador Emanuel was elected four times as a Member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Illinois’s 5th Congressional District (2002-2008). As Chairman of the House Democratic Caucus, Emanuel helped pass legislation to raise the minimum wage and authored the Great Lakes Restoration Act. From 1993 to 1998, Ambassador Emanuel was a key member of President Bill Clinton’s administration, rising to serve as Senior Advisor to the President for Policy and Politics. During this time, Emanuel served as a legislative liaison to Congress and spearheaded efforts to pass several of President Clinton’s signature achievements, most notably the Federal Assault Weapons Ban, the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act, and the historic Balanced Budget Act, which created the Children’s Health Insurance Program that expanded health care coverage to 10 million children. The Ambassador also worked closely with President Joseph R. Biden Jr., then a U.S. Senator, to shepherd the Violence Against Women Act of 1994 through Congress. As a former Senior Counselor at Centerview Partners and former Managing Director at Wasserstein Perella & Co., Emanuel brings a depth of financial experience to the post. Ambassador Emanuel graduated from Sarah Lawrence College in 1981 and received a Master’s Degree in Speech and Communication from Northwestern University in 1985. He is married to Amy Rule, and they have three children.

Clint Crosier leads the AWS Aerospace and Satellite Solutions business, responsible for providing commercial and government customers with tailored, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions for building satellites, conducting space and launch operations, and reimagining space exploration. Prior to joining AWS, he spent 33 years in the US Air Force and US Space Force retiring as a Major General. During his career, he operated GPS, SatCom, and missile warning satellite constellations, launched Atlas and Titan rockets putting national security payloads in orbit for the National Reconnaissance Office and Air Force Space Command, deployed to the Middle East during Operation Enduring Freedom as USSCENTCOM’s Director of Space Forces, and led Requirements and Strategy Development for the entire US Air Force. He has commanded at the Squadron, Group, and Wing levels, and held leadership roles as a US Senate Staffer and in the office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence. Prior to retiring from military service, he was the lead planner and architect of the stand-up of the US Space Force, the first new military service in 72 years. ​

Pascale Ehrenfreund is the President of the Committee of Space research (COSPAR) and the President of the International Space University (ISU). She is also Research Professor of Space Policy and International Affairs at the Space Policy Institute/George Washington University in Washington DC and serves on the Board of Directors of the Space Foundation. She is Co-chair of the Global Future Council on Space of the World Economic Forum and member of the JPL Advisory Council. Since three decades she contributed as Principal Investigator, Co- Investigator and Teamleader to ESA and NASA astronomy and planetary missions as well as experiments in low Earth orbit and on the International Space Station. Pascale Ehrenfreund was the President of the International Astronautical Federation (2019-2022), the Chair of the Executive Board of the German Aerospace Center (DLR) (2015 -2020) and the President of the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) (2013-2015). Pascale Ehrenfreund is enlisted in the Stanford World Ranking Top 2% Scientists 2022 and holds a Master degree in Molecular Biology, a PhD in Astrophysics, and a Master degree in Management & Leadership. The asteroid "9826 Ehrenfreund 2114 T-3" bears her name.

Lamboray Bob is currently a Policy Officer at the Luxembourg Space Agency (LSA) where he works on the development of the local space industry. Bob is the lead for space exploration and ISRU related projects and is actively involved in the development of the SpaceResources.lu initiative. In this context, he supports the European Space Resources Innovation Centre (ESIRC) as a strategic advisor. Bob is also the Luxembourgish delegate at the European Space Agency (ESA) in the Science Programme Committee (SPC) and the Program Board of Human Spaceflight, Microgravity and Exploration (PB-HME) overseeing the European Exploration Envelop Programme (E3P). Before joining LSA, he worked for more than 10 years in the satellite communication industry and holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL).

Garvey McIntosh is currently the NASA Attaché based at the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo. In this capacity he is responsible for the coordination of NASA programs and activities in Japan and other countries within the Asia Pacific Region. Since joining NASA in the Office of International and Interagency Relations (OIIR) in 2003, Garvey has amassed a broad range of leadership and management experiences. While in OIIR, he has negotiated and completed agreements with the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and NASA’s other international partners on the Space Shuttle, International Space Station, the Artemis program, high-energy physics, astronomy, aeronautics research, and education. During this tenure as the NASA Attaché at Embassy Tokyo, Garvey was the lead for President Biden’s visit to Tokyo in May 2022, he organized the announcement of Japan’s extension of the ISS and signing of the Implementing Arrangement on the Lunar Gateway in an event in November 2022, he supported the signing of the U.S. – Japan Framework agreement by Secretary of State Blinken and MOFA Minister Hayashi in January 2023, and he arranged the signing of the exchange of notes for the Martian Moons eXploration agreement in April 2023, between U.S. Ambassador to Japan Emanuel and Minister Hayashi. Garvey was awarded the prestigious Boren fellowship to spend a year conducting research in Vietnam from 2000 to 2001, and prior to that he spent 4 years in Nagasaki, Japan, where he taught English conversation and composition. He received his graduate degree in International Policy Studies from the Monterey Institute of International Studies in California, and his undergraduate degree in Communications Studies from Northeastern University in Boston. Garvey’s wife is Melanie McIntosh, and they have two children Anya (13) and Graeson (10). He speaks Japanese, Vietnamese, and Dutch.

As part of the Space Solutions team, Gonzalo is working in an overall Lunar Economy strategy. The working roadmap contemplates assessing the requirements of value chains for future Moon-based services. The strategy intends to involve broad sectors of the economy into future Moon- related operations. Prior to this he worked on the ESA Investor Forum, a platform that helped European scale-ups to raise capital, as well as ESA’s first Space for Fintech challenge, attracting the attention of London, Paris and Luxembourg’s banking community to the companies involved. Previous roles in the agency included working on institutional programmes like the eHealth for sub-Saharan Africa and Space4Med sponsored by the European Investment Bank. Before joining ESA, Gonzalo spent ten years working as team leader and engineer in space technology development for INSA S.A. (FUEGO and SMOS missions). He worked with big names in the Space industry including DLR, Alcatel Space, Alenia Aeronautica, Sener and INTA.

Alex Fielding is a renowned American engineer and entrepreneur who co-founded Privateer Space with Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and MacArthur Genius Dr. Moriba Jah. Throughout his career, Fielding has held key positions at Cisco, Apple, Ripcord, Power Assure, NASA and Vigilent. He has successfully raised over $250 million in venture capital, generating billions in positive returns for shareholders. Fielding's expertise spans industries such as technology, robotics, and space, with notable collaborations including NASA and Astra. As an inventor, he holds multiple patents in robotics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

Martin did his phD at DLR in Germany. He then worked as Director BD at SSC and the last 12 years Director Business Development at KSAT for the Ground Segment. During the last years he has focused on Lunar and Optical communications.

1998年に宇宙航空研究開発機構（JAXA）（当時は宇宙開発事業団（NASDA））に入社し、約10年に亘って国際宇宙ステーション（ISS）プログラムに従事し、日本実験棟「きぼう」の設計やプログラム調整を担当。2006年からは、米国NASAケネディ宇宙センターのJAXA駐在員として、NASAとの技術調整やプログラム調整を実施。帰国後は、JAXA全体の経営企画を担当する経営推進部にて、経営方針の策定や新規宇宙プロジェクトの企画を担当し、2018年からは、JAXAの有人月面探査プロジェクトの技術検討や国内関係省庁との調整、NASAとのプログラム調整を実施。2022年5月にispaceに入社し、CEOオフィスにて月経済圏のアーキテクチャ検討を担当。

Jason serves Vice President of Business Development and Strategy at Crescent Space Services LLC. In this capacity he oversees the growth strategy of the company’s lunar infrastructure-as-a-service products and technologies. Jason has extensive experience in developing and operating space systems as a civil servant and in industry. He served in the US Senate on the Science and Space Subcommittee as a NASA Fellow. He worked as a Flight Test Integration Manager on NASA’s Orion program for Exploration Flight Test-1 and managed operations in the Vehicle Assembly Building at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.

Logan is the Director of International Business Development at Blue Origin and is responsible for the commercial development of launch and exploration systems. Since joining Blue in 2019, he led corporate strategy for the launch services market after serving as the program manager for the New Shepard Crew Capsule. Prior to joining Blue Origin, he held various roles at Rolls-Royce, including leading small and medium engine sales with APAC regional airlines and supported the international expansion of the F-23B. Logan holds a Bachelor in Systems Engineering and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Secure World Foundation (SWF) is a non-profit foundation based in Broomfield Colorado, USA. The mission of the Secure World Foundation is to work with governments, industry, international organizations, and civil society to develop and promote ideas and actions to achieve the secure, sustainable, and peaceful uses of outer space benefiting Earth and all its peoples. Mr. Christensen is responsible for leading SWF’s engagement activities with the commercial space industry, where his activities focus on policy and governance topics in support of the development of private sector space capabilities.

Susan Oliver is the British Embassy Tokyo’s Counsellor for Defence, Cyber, Security, Space & Aerospace. She has worked in Tokyo since October 2022 and is currently seconded to the Department for Business & Trade from the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD). Before her current posting to Tokyo she undertook a wide range of roles in the UK MOD covering economic security, defence engagement and military operations. The latter included short tours with the CV19 and Afghanistan task forces. Susan has undertaken two previous secondments to the Department for Business & Trade these supported Asia-Pacific trade development and government-to-government export relationships. Earlier roles in the UK MOD have included major defence programme approvals and international military capability cooperation with North America and Asia Pacific region. Before joining the civil service Susan spent over twenty years in the Royal Air Force. She served in multiple roles as an air traffic controller and operations officer. Her military service took her all over the UK and Germany, and to the Falkland Islands. Susan has a son - currently serving in the British Army - and when not in Tokyo, her home is the Scottish Highlands. She enjoys her Peloton and running; she is a ski instructor and fitness gadget addict.

Chris Kunstadter is Global Head of Space at AXA XL and manages the company’s space insurance team. He is actively involved in all aspects of AXA XL’s space activity, including technical, financial, and actuarial analysis, coverage design, claims handling, industry outreach, and business development. Chris is a recognized leader in space risk management issues. For over three decades, he has worked closely with global satellite operators and manufacturers, launch providers, industry groups, and others to develop cutting-edge solutions that enable investment and innovation in space. Chris has collaborated with policymakers and space agencies around the world to enhance space safety and promote responsible space activity. Chris received a BA degree in Literature and an MS degree in Engineering from the University of California. He holds a Commercial Pilot license with Instrument and Multi-Engine ratings and is a Certified Flight Instructor. Chris is an avid musician and serves on the boards of several music-oriented not-for-profit organizations.

Denis Bensoussan started Beazley Space in 2014. Prior to Beazley, Denis managed Hiscox Space business and worked in aerospace departments at Marsh, at international law firm Simmons & Simmons and at the European Space Agency, the United Nations and the European Commission. With more than 20 years' experience in the space industry, Denis possesses extensive knowledge of the risks and challenges the space industry confronts. Denis obtained space systems engineering trainings from Southampton University and Supaero Paris and holds a Degree in Air & Space Law from McGill University. Denis is the Chairman of the London Market Association Satellite Risk Committee. Denis is an advisor and mentor for space start up, founders, incubators and VC funds.

Paul Aitchison has worked in the Aerospace insurance industry for more than 30 years, with experience in Aviation and Space sectors, both as a Broker and as an Underwriter. Paul set up the Lloyd’s Nebula Space Consortium in January 2022, which has quickly established itself as a prominent leading Global Space Insurance Market. The Nebula Consortium is managed by Ascot Underwriting with the lead capacity provided by Ascot Syndicate No. 1414 at Lloyd’s. Paul sits on the Lloyd's Market Association Space Group and has recently joined the International Union of Aerospace Insurers Space Sub-Group. He is also seconded to Lloyd's Insurance Corporation Europe for all Ascot Syndicate 1414 EU business classes. Paul holds a Masters Degree in Transactional Cost Economics from Henley Business School and is an elected Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society.

Naveen leads the B2C/B2B commercial business operations for Project Kuiper including business strategy, product management, design/UX, business development, solutions architecture, sales and marketing, customer and field operations and go-to-market/P&L management. Naveen and his team are responsible for working backwards from customer needs to develop country operating models, service offerings, go-to-market (GTM) plans, marketing plans and service operations to deliver on the Kuiper business plan. Prior to Amazon, Naveen worked at SpaceX (Starlink) and at Microsoft Corporation (multiple consumer and enterprise products and services). Naveen has Bachelors (Pune University) and Masters (Arizona State University) Degrees in Computer Science and an Executive MBA (University of Washington).

Jeffrey Manber served at the CEO of Nanoracks from 2009-2021 where he broke barriers for access to space and oversaw the growth of numerous commercial ISS programs, including the development of the first commercial Airlock. Most recently, he was appointed as President of International and Space Stations at Voyager Space. Jeffrey also continues to serve as Chairman of the Board for Nanoracks. As the only American to ever work officially for the Russian space program, his prior experience includes serving as Managing Director of Energia USA, the American arm of RSC Energia. In 1991, he carried over the first commercial contract between NASA and the Soviet Union to use Soyuz as an escape vehicle for Space Station Freedom. Later, Jeffrey represented the Russian space organizations when the basic contracts to realize the International Space Station were negotiated. As CEO of MirCorp, which leased the Russian space station Mir, he oversaw the first ever commercially funded crewed mission, of over 70 days, to the Mir space station. Jeffrey also co-developed the first fund dedicated to commercial space on Wall Street (Shearson Lehman) and has served as an advisor to numerous companies and governments. In 2012, Jeffrey was awarded the NASA Exceptional Public Achievement Medal.

One of Australia’s leading exponents of space biology and health, Dr Joshua Chou is passionate about finding new ways to deal with debilitating diseases by applying engineering principles to unanswered biological questions. He is a committee member of the Australian Space Agency Space Medicien and Life Science group and was awarded the Australia Space Award Researcher of the Year in 2020. Dr. Chou was previously a Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Fellow (JSPS), and a Dean’s Scholar Fellow at Harvard School of Dental Medicine working on cell mechanobiology. Dr. Chou is the CEO of EXPLOR Biologics which focuses on innovative approaches toward understanding cellular and disease mechanisms including leveraging the unique properties of microgravity in space to understand physical properties of the living cell and their impact in health and disease. The microgravity environment can accelerate the aging process and provides a great model for understanding disease progression. The EXPLOR Biologic technologies have allowed researcher the ability to develop new and improved preventative and regenerative strategies. This “out-of-this-world” approach has yielded significant insights into how cells and diseases respond and support drug and therapeutic development.

茨城大学大学院理工学研究科博士後期課程3年在学中。学部4年から同大学の中村麻子教授の指導のもとで放射線生物学の研究に携わり、DNA損傷を自動で検出するデバイスの開発を中心に研究を行っている。2019年より中村教授と共同でDNA損傷評価技術の事業化に向けた活動を始め、2019年9月に東京で開催された株式会社リバネス主催のバイオテックグランプリに参加、ファイナリストに選出され、吉野家賞ロート賞を受賞。2020年3月にDinowを共同創業。2018年日本宇宙生物科学会優秀発表賞を受賞。

2012年、国内大手メーカーに研究職として入社。ライフサイエンス分野の新規事業を提案し、事業推進を通じて研究開発、製造、営業など幅広い業務を経験。その後、同事業リーダーとなり、プロジェクトマネジメントに従事。2022年4月、Space BD株式会社入社。宇宙×ライフサイエンスをテーマに、微小重力空間を用いた事業開発を行う。

博士（理学）。専門は分子生物学・遺伝学。博士号取得後、文部科学省に入省しライフサイエンス分野の研究開発政策や日本医療研究開発機構（AMED）の設立、初等中等教育のICT化などに携わる。2017年にマサチューセッツ工科大学システムデザインマネジメントコース（修士課程）に留学し、プロジェクトマネジメントおよびスタートアップ・エコシステムの研究に取り組む。2019年に帰国し、科学技術・イノベーション政策全般や核融合研究開発の担当を経て、文部科学省を退職。2021年7月よりCIC Japanにてライフサイエンス分野のスタートアップ企業支援プログラム等を担当。

Kier Fortier is the Managing Director at Exolaunch USA, where he leads US business development and has been involved in the integration, launch and deployment of more than 215 multinational small satellites on seven different launch vehicles. Kier has extensive experience in the NewSpace industry and has held positions with Spire Global and the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics. Kier holds a B.S. and M.S. in Aerospace Engineering Sciences from the University of Colorado Boulder.

1981年、東京大学工学部航空学科修士課程修了（専門　構造設計）。富士重工業株式会社（現SUBARU）入社。航空事業本部にて航空機構造設計、宇宙機開発プロジェクトに従事。1992年6月にアリアンスペース社に入社、東京事務所リエゾン・エンジニアとして日本のお客様とアリアンスペース本社の技術調整支援に従事。1998年、東京事務所副代表に就任。2008年4月、アリアンスペース社東京事務所代表に就任。2014年12月フランス国家功労勲章オフィシエを受章。日本ロケット協会会長。

Mr. Ravit Sachasiri joined Swedish Space Corporation (SSC) in 2020 as the Business Development Director for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. Within the APAC region, Ravit is responsible for working with ASEAN countries as well as to develop NewSpace customers across the entire region. Before joining SSC and moving to Sweden, Ravit lived and worked in Thailand for more than 10 years working with the Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (GISTDA) including responsibilities such as project and contract management for the THEOS-2 Earth Observation satellite program, satellite engineering, Satellite System administration and leading the Space Technology co-creation division. Ravit Sachasiri received the Franco-Thai Government scholarship to pursue his Master’s degree in Satellite Communication from ISAE-SUPAERO in Toulouse, France and prior to that, an Indian government scholarship to pursue his Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering from New Delhi, India.
